Electric is back on so LET"S HAVE STAMP CAMP!!!

WOW!!!!! We were without Electric from the January ice storms almost 4 weeks!!!! We just got it back a week ago tonight and I've been busy getting laundry and everything else caught up or at least trying too!



Since the walls were beginning to close in all around us, I need my "Calgon to take me away" and what a better way to get a sense of relief is to STAMP! So Let's get back into the swing of things with my regular Monthly STAMP CAMP on THURSDAY MARCH 5th!!!!



I'll do my best to get the class samples posted either tomorrow or no later than Sunday! They all feature a fresh breath of Spring since we've had enough of Winter do us for another year, as we just encountered the Storm of the Century!!!!!

Surviving an Ice Storm with a Valentine Just For You!

Yep, were still live a kicking, but still haning on with NO POWER TO DATE.

During the break my stamper's wanted to take for January, we assisted my brother-in-law with trips to Memhpis for eye surgery as he had a cancerous tumor removed and within a couple of days was hit with a devasting ice storm which we are still trying to dig out from. It's been over two weeks and we still don't have power. So yes, I'm running on a generator. During this time our Internet server was also down so I've also just recently been able to get back online. to top things off there is still miles and miles of high line poles down, andwe were hit with heavy rains over night, and many of the fields were these poles are located are now lakes everwhere and we have excess high winds today reaching upto 60 MPH. there is no telling when the line men will be able to regain working on suppling electric to our area. And no, this isn't Kentucky, it's Arkansas.

I am so ready for spring, and many of my stampers love the ease and quickness of direct stamping and I came up with idea just for them and it maybe had to see but features the shredded ribbon technique instead of a bow, and stamped cardstock vellum for a gosmmer glittery wings.

December Holiday Extravaganza Stamp camp

Christmas is just right around the corner so it's time for an Holiday Extravaganza Stamp Camp.

It will be held at our usual location at the Boydsville Community Center, on this coming Thursday evening December 4th at 6:30 P.M.

I know everyone is on a tight budget this year, and looking for economically priced projects that are easy on the budget and easy to reproduce for gift giving. I'm proud to announce that this month's projects will do just that, and include one of the cutest ever Chrsitmas Cards, featuring an dimensional snowman and our Felt Flurries snowflakes. Stair Steppin' w/ Punch Pals puttin on the Glitz!

My Little Punch Pals, thought it was time to get into shape for the holidays, so they decided what better way than to climb up on a Stair Stepper, technique that is!

I saw so many adorable cards made over at SCS using the recent technique challege of making stair step cards I just had to give it a try. And what could be more cuter than to use the darlings from the Punch Pals stamp set! Mr Snowman watches over the pile of gifts all the while little penguins are marching all around to and fro delivering presents to everyone and are even bringing home the tree to decorate their igloo.

I hope you can see just how sparkly the snow is and feel the chill of ole Jack Frost while the sprit of the holiday fills the air!!! All images are raised on Dimensionals as well even though they appear flat. Watermark program is on blitz .

Basic method to build a stair step card is to :

Start with a base the size of 10.5 X 5, and

Score at the following measurements: 1 1/4", 2 1/2", 4 1/4", 6", and 8 1/4",

then embellish as you like.
